Survey Workers Return Order

The order is gone, and the workers are gone.

Hangzhou, Xiaoshan District, was informed of an enterprise nearby. Bankruptcy After that, Hangzhou Wantong Trading Co., Ltd. posted posting advertisements near the factory: skilled workers, preferential treatment, settling accommodation...

It seems that the conditions are excellent, but they haven't received the phone call from the factory workers until the first month of November.

Wantong trade processing plant can absorb 300 workers, but this year the factory has been around 200 workers. The company's labor costs increased by 20% this year. They installed air conditioners in their dormitories and arranged single rooms for married employees, but these did not attract more workers to join.

Multiple factors such as order reduction, capital chain break, and business spanformation. Influence This year, Hangzhou's foreign trade enterprises failed repeatedly. Like the failure of the 300 garment business, the workers have not been diverted to the surrounding factories after the factory closures.

The situation in the nearby cities is somewhat similar. The other one is heavily employed in Suzhou, Jiangsu. In the past, Suzhou's high tech Zone, Maple Bridge labor service street, has rarely seen applicants. "During the peak season, we can receive 50 people a day in a service street, but now it's a single digit." Zhuang Zhi said. Zhuang is chairman of Suzhou Ingmar human resources group. His company is engaged in blue collar outsourcing service.

The order is gone, and the workers are gone.

For Hu Yali, who has been engaged in foreign trade for more than ten years, this year is a bleak year. Hu Yali is assistant to general manager of Ningbo Vico industry and Trade Co., Ltd. Her services mainly export clothing, home textiles, fabrics and other textile products to European and American countries. Hu Yali said that although the order is "not enough to eat", the big order is really not coming, because no one can guarantee that there will be enough workers in the delivery period.

The contradiction between order shortage and labor shortage is spreading at an unprecedented rate in coastal areas. A number of foreign trade enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta have said that the order is not enough to become an enterprise. face The big problem. Even so, recruitment and retention at the end of the year is still a difficult problem.

The coming Christmas did not add much color to Hu Yali's business. Hu Yali said that they had about 400 thousand Christmas orders last year, but less than 300 thousand this year, a decrease of about 30%, and the order after February next year has not yet been implemented.

In addition to its own production plant of about 3000 people, it has about 30 processing plant partners in Ningbo. Hu Yali said that in previous years, the factory had to greet the factory ahead of time, so as to ensure that there was enough production capacity to complete the order. Now, she often receives a call from the processing factory to inquire whether there is any work done.

The consequence of the factory's failure to get orders is that the rate of operation is not enough. Stopping work means that the workers can't work and have no wages to take. At the same time, besides basic wages, overtime is also an important source of income for workers, and the reduction of overtime will inevitably lead to lower workers' income. "Because workers can't get enough wages in the past, this year's workers are very mobile. They often jump around and go where they live." Hu Yali said.

Since November, odd jobs have become the choice of many workers. Temporary workers in Suzhou factories earn between 100 yuan and 120 yuan a day, which is more than 2500 yuan a month for long-term workers.

Apart from some of them becoming temporary workers, others chose to go home because of unstable factory production.

Most of the workers in the coastal areas come from Guizhou, Jiangxi, Sichuan and other places in the mainland. As more and more coastal factories move inland, these mainland workers who work in coastal areas have more choices. They prefer to give up hundreds of dollars in coastal wages and go back to work in their hometown.

At present, the central and western provinces have taken action to retain the Chinese New Year's Spring Festival workers. Zhuang Zhicheng, chairman of Ingmar human resources group, has learned that since December, the two governments in Chengdu and Chongqing have set up a special team to persuade the workers returning home from the Spring Festival to stay at home.

Since last year, the trend of coastal workers returning to the mainland has begun to appear. Some 27 year old "old workers" face the problems of family and childbirth and leave the coastal areas. For the eighteen year old workers who are nine years old, the factory is not attractive to them. Monotonous work on the assembly line can not keep these young people thinking of them. clothing Selling clothes in a store is also more respectable than working in a factory. "Fewer and fewer people are willing to engage in manufacturing." Feng Lijuan, a leading human resource expert, said.

According to the survey data of Ingmar in Suzhou, nearly 18% of enterprises in the Suzhou area have made clear that they should raise salaries for blue collar employees next year. "The year-end stay", "recruitment difficulties at the year-end" and "salary increase attract talents" are the most important reasons for enterprises to raise salaries.
